Terms of Service

Last reviewed: [DATE]

Draft, not legal advice. Have an actual lawyer review this before publishing, particularly the purchases/refund and liability sections - those carry real legal weight once the app is charging real money, and this draft is not a substitute for that review.

Acceptance

By downloading or using Roobaroo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What Roobaroo is

Roobaroo is a party word-guessing game played in person with a group, in two modes (Forehead and Tabletop). It's provided for entertainment purposes.

Your content

Player names you type into the app stay on your device only (see the Privacy Policy) and are used solely to personalize your own gameplay experience. You're responsible for what you type in - don't enter anything you wouldn't want displayed on a shared screen to whoever you're playing with, since names are shown on-screen during gameplay and results.

Purchases

Roobaroo offers optional paid unlocks for additional content (monthly or lifetime plans). [This needs to be filled in accurately once real payments are live - cover: how purchases are processed (through Apple's or Google's payment systems, not directly by us), that pricing may vary by region/currency, how to request a refund (generally handled through Apple/Google's own refund processes), and what a purchase actually unlocks. Do not publish this section as-is.]

Acceptable use

Don't use Roobaroo to:

No warranty

Roobaroo is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be error-free or available at all times. [A lawyer should draft the actual limitation-of-liability language appropriate for your jurisdiction.]

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
